Pirsch garage sold to Hedin Mobility

Hedin Automotive Luxembourg SA, a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group AB (publ), has signed an agreement to acquire the Mazda business of Garage Pirsch s.à.r.l. in Luxembourg. The transaction includes all Mazda activities of Garage Pirsch in the sales and after-sales of new and used cars. The Mazda team will join Hedin Automotive after the transfer of activities.

With this takeover, Hedin Mobility Group physically enters the Luxembourg market for the first time and brings the number of countries with local operations to 14, completing the Group’s presence in the Benelux with leading sales and after-sales activities through the Hedin Automotive brand in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The acquisition also means that Hedin Mobility Group will continue to develop Mazda, which it currently represents in Finland. In addition, the Garage Pirsch dealership in Luxembourg will become Ineos Grenadier’s third showroom in the Benelux and its first in Luxembourg.

The acquisition of Garage Pirsch’s Mazda business is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2023.
