The new Portuguese Ambassador to Luxembourg, His Excellency Pedro Sousa e Abreu, who has notably worked at Ramallah, NATO and UNESCO over the course of his diplomatic career, was visiting the ACL on Tuesday 7th March. He was welcomed by ACL Director Jean-Claude Juchem and Vania Henry, spokesperson for the Club. As a lifelong member of the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP), he took notice of the importance of close collaboration between the European clubs belonging to ARC Europe. During his visit, he stressed that the issue of mobility was one of the major concerns of Portuguese newcomers to Luxembourg. In particular, he claimed to be keen to encourage the Portuguese community to take advantage of all of the services offered by the ACL. Incidentally, this classic car enthusiast was impressed by the quality of the technical facilities at the Diagnostic Center and by the expertise of ACL’s staff in this respect.
