ACL New Driver

You are aged between 16 and 25 and have just obtained your first driving license?

To help you take your first steps in individual mobility, the ACL offers the Europe* membership card to young drivers who have passed their car or motorbike driving license.

*The classic ACL card, for those who like to travel! The “Europe” membership card offers members, in addition to the services of the Luxembourg membership card, additional protection when travelling in Europe, regardless of the private means of transport.

What are the conditions for signing up for the "New Driver" membership card?

  • You must be aged between 16 and 25 at the time of registration
  • You must have passed your driving test within the last 24 months, in Luxembourg or elsewhere
  • Valid for car (B) and motorbike (AM, A2 and A) licenses
  • Registration valid for all new members

What is the expiry date of the "New Driver" membership card?

The ACL offers you the membership card free of charge until 31.12 of the current year.
If registration is submitted after 01.07 of the current year, the validity is extended to 31.12 of the following year.
After registering via the ACL website, you will receive a provisional membership card until you are issued with your definitive membership card.
