Become one with your machine, refine your sense of balance and get valuable tips on how to handle the vehicle.

The Maison du Motard des ACL is pleased to invite you to several dates in 2025 .

Price per person 

129 € for ACL members. (Price for non-members: 179 €).

The number of participants is limited to 14.

A threshold of 8 participants is required for the course to take place. If fewer than 8 people participate, the Maison du Motard reserves the right to cancel or postpone the session.

Objective

To recognise critical situations in time and react to them with routine, in order to enjoy the feeling of freedom on the handlebars.

Programme

This course consists of several workshops:

• Sitting, looking and steering correctly in a slalom and cornering course
• Refining your sense of balance
• Gyroscopic and counter-steering
• Effects of front and rear braking at different speeds
• How do I deal with difficult driving situations? Which manoeuvres help me to cope with them? Learning action patterns to optimise your reactions
• Lots of tips and tricks for handling the vehicle: in which situations is it better to brake, and in which situations should you take evasive action?
• What should you do when braking is no longer possible?
• What are the benefits of ABS?

Catering

Coffee and croissants are offered upon arrival, as well as bottles of water throughout the day. These services are included in the training fee.
A one-hour mid-session break is scheduled for each session. Picnic tables are available on the terrace or indoors for you to enjoy a packed lunch. Alternatively, pizza or pasta delivery is possible on site. Our bar is also open for snacks and drinks.

Important

To participate in the training, you must have a complete and approved motorcycle outfit with protective gear:

• The motorcycle: In perfect condition
  • Brakes
  • Tyres
  • Noise level (sound level meter)
  • Fuel level
  • …
• The helmet: Approved and in perfect condition
• The jacket: Suitable for motorcycling (protective gear, etc.)
• Gloves: suitable for motorcycling (protections, etc.)
• Trousers: suitable for motorcycling (protections, etc.)
• Shoes: suitable for motorcycling (ankle protection, etc.)

The Maison du Motard reserves the right to refuse the participation of any motorcyclist whose equipment is not suitable!

Driving licence and insurance documents for the vehicle must be presented upon arrival at the venue.

During the exercises, the vehicle is covered by the owner’s insurance.

Conditions for cancellation

Please note that cancellation by the participant will be accepted up to two weeks before the course date at the latest. If the participant cannot or does not want to come on another date, the full course fee will be refunded. After this period, a refund is no longer possible.

If the course has to be cancelled by us (the maximum number of participants has not been reached or bad weather conditions such as heavy rain, ice or snow prevail), the course fee will be refunded in full.

We would like to point out to the participants of our events that they may be seen in photos or videos taken during the event. These are intended to be published in the written or digital media published by Automobile Club du Luxembourg.
