Accounting Department Manager - M/F - CDI - Full Time

Your main responsibilities and missions are as follows:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax deadlines for various entities of ACL.
  • Plan, coordinate, and review all periodic accounting closures.
  • Develop and oversee the application of accounting procedures within the organization (e.g., purchases).
  • Prepare annual accounts for different entities and manage audits (statutory, ISO, etc.).
  • Review and file all accounting, tax, STATEC declarations, etc.
  • Actively monitor the recovery of member and client receivables.
  • Supervise and develop the Accounting team (4 Accountants + 1 Receivable Collection Officer).
  • Monitor cost accounting and liaise with the Controlling department.
  • Coordinate with Invoicing to enhance the efficiency of the Finance department.
  • Act as the contact person for ERP ODOO development needs: present team-specific requirements, coordinate with ICT & developers, conduct testing, oversee implementation, and support team during changes.
  • Actively participate in development/digitalization/efficiency projects.

Your profile:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Taxation / Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Accounting Manager in a Luxembourg-based non-financial sector company: operational management and accounting closures.
  • Experience in corporate taxation.
  • Advanced level proficiency in ODOO accounting software and EXCEL.
  • Sense of responsibility and organizational skills.
  • Rigor, strong analytical skills, proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Good communication skills, team management experience, and leadership ability.
  • Proficiency in French and Luxembourgish languages; German is an advantage.
