An events project manager – M/F – CDI – Full-time
Your role will contribute directly to the visibility and presence of ACL among its members, partners and collaborators.
ACL organises or participates in several dozen events throughout Luxembourg every year. These events are aimed at a wide audience with different areas of interest. You will be responsible for organising ACL’s internal and external events and will actively participate in various communication projects. Your role will directly contribute to ACL’s visibility and presence among its members, partners and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Organising external events
- You will design, plan and monitor events for members and the general public (conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions, sporting events, training, etc.) and ensure that they run smoothly and have a positive impact on ACL’s image. This includes:
- Managing event projects from start to finish, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Coordinating with external service providers and partners.
- Determining the material and human resources.
- Alignment with ACL’s communication objectives to maximise the organisation’s visibility and awareness.
- You will design, plan and monitor events for members and the general public (conferences, trade fairs, exhibitions, sporting events, training, etc.) and ensure that they run smoothly and have a positive impact on ACL’s image. This includes:
- Organising internal events
- In collaboration with the Head of Internal Communication, you will coordinate events dedicated to ACL employees (employee parties, town halls, etc.), promoting team cohesion and engagement.
- You manage marketing and promotional materials
- You manage stocks of marketing materials and goodies (booths, brochures, kakemonos, promotional items, etc.) to ensure that they are available at events and in good condition. This includes:
- Monitoring the inventory.
- Reordering in collaboration with suppliers.
- Anticipating specific needs for each event.

- Coordinating with external service providers.
- You will work with service providers (event agencies, suppliers, printers, etc.) to ensure that deadlines, budgets and quality standards are met.
- Monitoring the events calendar
- You will create and monitor an annual calendar of events and related publicity, ensuring optimal planning and alignment with ACL’s strategic objectives.
- Production of communication materials
- You will work closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure that materials are coherent, attractive and respectful of ACL’s visual identity.
- Innovation and creativity
- You will propose innovative event concepts and creative approaches to promote ACL to its members and partners.
Sought profile
- Education and experience
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in communication, event management or equivalent.
- At least three years of professional experience in event organisation and project management.
- Previous experience of the Luxembourg market and its ecosystem will be considered an asset.
- Skills and qualities
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
- Creativity and innovation to design impactful events.
- Rigour and attention to detail, particularly in the management of stocks and budgets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Language skills: Luxembourgish is an asset, in addition to French, German and English.
- Ability to work in a team and with a range of different contacts.
- Proficiency in office communication tools and project management.
