A PR and Media Manager (m/f) - CDI - Full-time
The Head of Public Relations and Media is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to strengthen ACL's image.
The Public Relations and Media Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies aimed at strengthening ACL’s image as an essential player in the field of mobility and support in Luxembourg. He/she ensures the coherence and impact of the messages disseminated to the media, the public and members.
Responsibilities & main activities
Communication strategy
- Develop and implement ACL’s media and public relations strategy
- Ensure messages are aligned with ACL’s vision and objectives.
Media Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists and other influencers
- Organise press conferences, interviews and media events
- Write and distribute press releases, press kits and other informative materials
Crisis management
- Manage crisis communications situations in coordination with the Director of Communications
- Preparation of crisis communication plans and response messages
Managing relationships with FIA, clubs and institutions
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), other European clubs, mobility institutions and all other institutional bodies (governments, embassies, chambers of commerce)
- Represent the ACL at international meetings or events and ensure communication and co-operation on joint initiatives
- Identify and develop opportunities for partnerships with international organisations to strengthen ACL’s position as a mobility expert.
Monitor the media
- Track news and media trends to anticipate opportunities and risks
- Analyse media response to ACL actions and suggest improvements.
Content creation
- Act in support of the editor-in-chief of Autotouring magazine
- Contribute to the creation of content for the ACL’s various communication platforms
Events and partnerships
- Organise and participate in events related to the ACL’s activities
- Develop partnerships with relevant organisations to increase ACL’s visibility.
Profile
- Education: Baccalaureate +5 in communications, public relations, journalism or equivalent
- Experience: +10 years of experience in a similar position
- Language skills: Mandatory command of the four languages used in Luxembourg (French, German, Luxembourgish and English)
- Knowledge of the local context: Good knowledge of Luxembourg’s political and economic landscape and key stakeholders
- Technical skills: Mastery of digital communication tools
- Personal qualities: Excellent editorial and interpersonal skills, responsiveness, creativity, analytical thinking, initiative
