Annual General Meeting on 6 June 2024

The entire Board of Directors of the Automobile Club Luxembourg (ACL) was re-elected at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 6 June 2024.

Several agenda items were approved at the Ordinary General Assembly, which is an important date for the management of the ACL. On this occasion, Yuriko Backes (DP), Minister of Mobility and Public Works, was able to address the members of the Board of Directors as well as the associate members and the people present via video link.

In detail, ACL President Dr Yves Wagner first introduced Miriam Eisenmenger to the meeting as the new General Manager, before thanking Jean-Claude Juchem warmly for his work at the helm of the club over the past ten years.

Following a presentation of the 2023 annual report, the Annual General Meeting approved the 2023 annual financial statements and the appropriation of profits, while also approving the budget for the current financial year.

Finally, the Board of Directors of the Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) was re-elected in its entirety under the chairmanship of Dr Yves Wagner and its two Vice-Chairmen Romain Gantrel and Ed Goedert.

“We have continued to invest heavily in our IT infrastructure and continuously improve the efficiency and quality of our services. We have been awarded the ‘Made in Luxembourg’ label, thanks in particular to the outstanding performance of our Assistance Centre, our road traffic services, the Diagnostic Centre and the Clubmobile. This is a nice reward for all our employees, whom I would like to thank warmly,’ said ACL President Dr Yves Wagner.
