More than 200 bikers to round off the season

Published on 15/10/2024

On 13 October, 200 bikers covered the 120 kilometres of the End of Season Moto Tour 2024. The cool temperatures did not discourage the many participants in this outing organised by ACL and the Maison du Motard.

Departing from Bertrange, the bikers and their passengers racked up the kilometres. More than 200 bikers and accompanying persons took part in this latest edition of the End of Season Moto Tour 2024. A record number.

Supervised by instructors from the Maison du Motard and a few external reinforcements, the convoy set off in groups of 10 motorbikes, accompanied by a supervisor. The latter had already scouted the route to ensure the safety of the participants. ‘We had no problems whatsoever, and the initial feedback has been very positive’, commented Jean-Luc and Alain, instructors at the Maison du Motard. For the record, four new instructors took part in their first motorbike ride organised by ACL. ‘Eliane, Marilyn, Claude and Pascal had been so motivated and committed to the event for weeks that they made a perfect first ride,’ they added.

Throughout the day, the bikers discovered a multitude of breathtaking roads over a total distance of 120 km, taking them from Bertrange to Ingeldorf. ‘As usual, we’ve chosen a route that favours motorcycling, with sections that are sometimes a little technical, such as hairpin bends. The watchword remains to have fun on two wheels, while remaining vigilant about safety and conviviality’, explained the members of the Maison du Motard.

For those who were unable to take part in this traditional event, or for those who simply wish to repeat the route, the route is available in GPX format.
