Periodic Technical Inspection: Compulsory for all vehicles, this inspection ensures that your vehicle complies fully with safety standards. Our inspectors examine crucial components such as brakes, headlights, pollutant emissions and much more. In addition to the common points, the SNCT carries out a series of specific checks for each type of vehicle, such as commercial vehicles, HGVs or electric and hybrid vehicles.

Technical inspection following a rejection: In the event of a failure at the initial periodic inspection, the SNCT offers its customers specific ‘rejection’ appointments, focusing specifically on a re-check of the points that gave rise to the initial failure.

To enhance your comfort and experience at the SNCT, you will be welcomed in a dedicated reception area and a waiting area will be available while one of our inspectors checks your vehicle.

Prepare your documents: Make sure you have all the necessary documents, such as the vehicle registration document, the paid tax sticker, the valid insurance certificate, the certificate of conformity (if available) and the certificate of the last roadworthiness test (if available).

Check the basics: Before the inspection, check simple things like the lighting (headlights, dipped headlights, indicators, fog lights and brake lights), tyres, windscreen wiper levels and the operation of the windscreen wipers.
