As part of the various procedures carried out at the SNCA, you will be asked to pay a chancery stamp, the value of which may vary.

Four ways to buy "droit de chancellerie" stamps
- From ACL, with no administration fee for members
- At the relevant offices of the Administration de l’Enregistrement et des Domaines
- By paying the tax by bank transfer to the account at BCEE (BCEELULL) LU76 0019 5955 4404 7000 (Bureau de Diekirch – Recette/droits de timbre). Be sure to mention the surname and first name of the person concerned and the explicit reason for the transfer – for vehicle registration, the vehicle registration number and chassis number must appear on the transfer statement. The printed copy of the transfer statement takes the place of proof: no physical stamps are sent
- From the SNCA Registration department. In this case, allow for an additional handling fee of €3
