The eye test carried out by a CNS-qualified optician allows you to be reimbursed by the CNS, even without a medical prescription from an ophthalmologist.

Your visual acuity must be at least 8/10 to be authorised to drive. How good is your eyesight? Test your eyesight free of charge!

When you buy a pair of glasses (frame and 2 optical correction lenses or sunglasses) at home or in a shop, you will receive:

A free CNS-qualified eye examination worth €70
A free visit to your home to discover our collection of frames
A free ACL membership card (‘Luxembourg’ membership card with a minimum purchase of €599 and ‘Europe’ membership card with a minimum purchase of €1,100)

To receive this benefit, you must have the ACL app on your smartphone that has been previously registered with your membership number. Then use the ACL app to confirm your eligibility when you are asked to scan the QR code in store or elsewhere.
