The Blankenburg motorway junction in the Rotterdam region will open at the beginning of December 2024.
On 7 December 2024, the Blankenburg motorway junction (A24) in the Rotterdam region will be opened. This new motorway will connect the A15 near Rozenburg with the A20 near Vlaardingen.
How does the payment for the A24/Blankenburg connection work and what is e-TOL?
e-TOL is an electronic toll system used in some countries to facilitate the payment of road tolls. This system allows for automatic detection and payment of tolls without stopping at a toll booth.
For example, on the new A24/Blankenburg junction, a photo of your number plate is automatically taken so that you can continue your journey without any problems.
Useful information
- Trailers or caravans do not incur any additional tolls.
- Vehicles registered abroad must also pay a toll.
