Vignettes and tolls in Switzerland
All vehicles under 3.5 tonnes, including motorbikes, must have an adhesive vignette on motorways and motorways. There are also tolls for motorail trains and tunnels.
Obtain your vignette from ACL
The vignette is available at the ACL offices in Bertrange and Ingeldorf and at the border crossings.
The price is currently €44.00 VAT.
Note: Non-members must pay an additional fee of €2.50 VAT per vignette.
It is valid during the printed year as well as in December of the previous year and in January of the following year, i.e. for a total of 14 months.
HGV toll (HVF) and electronic vignette: important information
Everything you need to know about the HVF and the electronic vignette.
Vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tonnes must pay a heavy vehicle charge (RPLF). This tax, in conjunction with the ViaApp, is of crucial importance for all drivers concerned. More information about this tax obligation and the ViaApp platform can be found below.
Further information
The electronic vignette (e-vignette) was introduced on 1 August 2023. Unlike the previous adhesive vignette, the electronic vignette does not replace it. Both variants are used in parallel and thus offer a smooth transition to this new system.
To buy your electronic vignette, you can visit the official website of the Federal Customs and Border Protection Agency. Don’t miss the opportunity to comply with the current regulations and purchase your electronic vignette now.
